Hello everyone in this article i will show you how to setup cloudflare free cdn in your wordpress. Or any other website in just two minutes. So a content delivery network serves a lot of benefits to the users including better performance reliability and security for web properties.
You can read all the benefits of this cloudflare service like improving load time. Reducing bandwidth costs increasing content availability improving website security etc.
So today we will work on this website we will set up cloudflare cdn on this wordpress website. Before connecting our site to cloudflare cdn.
Nameservers to setup cloudflare free cdn
Now Let’s check the nameserver of it remember the nameservers.
Then jump to cloudflare I already have an account here. If you don’t have one then click on the sign up button.
After logging add a new website click on add a site. Now copy the domain name and paste it here. Click add site.
You will see some packages of cloudflare pro users. To stay free version you can choose the free plan too.The free plan includes ddos attack protection, global cdn etc.
After pressing continue cloudflare will start scanning your domain’s domain nameservers. After finishing you will see a record with proxy status you may see multiple rows like this. Press continue
At this stage cloudflare will ask you to change the nameserver of your domain. You need to replace these name servers with the old nameservers.
Manage Domain from Domain Registrar
Go to your domain panel find the nameserver option of your domain. Your nameserver interface may be different based on the company you bought the domain from.
Now copy the nameservers from cloudflare and replace them now, save it. This time we will check whether the nameserver changed or not.
Press refresh you also can search by the domain name. You will see the newly set nameservers. Here that means the process is done. Now back to the cloudflare and press done.
Quick Start Guide to setup cloudflare cdn
In quick setup just follow the process of mine.
Automatic HTTPS Rewrites is default on leave it as it is.
Then Always Use HTTPS, here i will turn it on.
Then turn on Auto minify all the files by clicking tick.
Brotli is by default on i will leave it on.
Then click Finish.
Finaly it will take some time when the cloudflare cdn service will be activated. So you will get this email.
